Welcome to Lombok, the Island of Thousand  Mosque !!!

If by any chance, you have a time, Take a look at Mataram city. It doesn't have much tourism places, but for culture, it could be one of the best options. 

Looking from religion aspect, many lombok people are moslem, next is hindusm because of some citizen are from bali. The rest and the minority are christian, catholic and budhism. 

Because of the variety of this religion, mataram is built by many of hindusm temple and mosque. One of the biggest mosque that catching my attention is Islamic Centre 

Islamic centre has been built since 2014 and finished on 2016. Using the combination  of blue, green and yellow, the color of this building really catchy and it was so different from all the mosque I've ever seen.

Inside of this mosque, there is a mainhall which is also a Musholla in the second floor, Some moslem who is coming, always take time to pray. This place also prepare a sajadah and mukenah for every people who wants to pray but doesn't bring sajadah or mukenah.

The other interesting things to do when you are arriving here is having a tour on another building which is accompanied by some guide. This building has 13th floor, and for a local people must paid Rp 5.000,00 to have this tour. The price will be different if you are coming fron another cities, and more expensive if you are tourist. 

The tour will begin after the guide gather 12 people in one batch, and then they bring us to the lift. The first place is 13th floor which is 99 m and bordered by a wall glass because of the wind is too much strong.  99 m is taken from  Asmaul Husna, which mean the beautiful names of God.  The view of mataram city is so stunning and the sky is quite clear. 

Next, we are going to 9th floor that was an opening area, you could feel the strong wind blowing and watch the architecture of islamic centre from above. 

For someone that has an acrophobia, I think it's quite scary and need more effort to face the struggle. Hehehe. By any chance, I am also take some selfie with my best friend who accompanied me

The tour is finished when we reach 1st floor, and it's free time. You could have your own tour in this islamic centre. For some tourist and people who wear short pants or tank top, they must wear a grey cloak. 

This islamic centre is also a place to held many events or ceremony like wedding, talkshow or bazaar. For moslem, at sunday morning they will pray together and get a lecture from Ustad. 

Now, after have ashort tour about Moslem, I learn a lot, every religion is beautiful, they also taught us about love, virtue and kindness.. why we should let ourselves deceived by some of people who have hatred about several religion. 

Religion is about spiritual, just because someone bad action doesn't mean an entire people who embrace it also bring bad influence and must be vanished.  

See the beauty side of differences and embrace it.. bring this world a peace for entire human race.. Love is real, only when we want to accept differences and live together.
